Track #writephoto

Some nights

By the tree she sat

And watched the ghosts pass by.

Of all those who once lived

And all that was once laughed about

Passed in the flicker of a moment.

She let a part of self be lost to each passerby

In the hope that she’ll vanish

But she regrew. Like a starfish, everytime

Resilient and fateful.

The Forest

Don’t wander off, dear heart

Not in the forbidden part of Forest

Not in the places familiar

The fog that still feels warm

Don’t wander off, dear heart

Don’t chase the dragonflies

And try to catch them

What once belonged doesn’t anymore

Focus, old friend

Don’t look for the maze to get lost

What doesn’t belong is free to fly

So fly to the infinite Land, and don’t wander off.

An open letter to nobody

Dear Stranger,

My heart is overwhelmed by the turn of events. I was walking through the desert, one that took me in. I liked how the grains felt beneath my feet. I liked how the sand could stir up a storm. I liked how I could hide in an endless sight. And when I was walking, the desert blinded me through a gleam of blue crystals. But this was no oasis. A mirage, mocking me.

Why?

I walked through the gardens, I walked through the forests. I walked through the oceans, I walked through the desert. I asked for nothing, but they kept teasing me.

I looked for peace, and silence and shade. I looked for a cradle to hide, and sleep.

Life’s play

The notes she thought her absence will open, were now being revealed one by one. Subtly, right before her eyes. The chords she had perceived too stringent to play, were now melting in anguish. The sounds she had longed to hear, now touched her hearing here and there.

Oh the course of life! How unpredictable. How infinitesimal is the ginormous will of a man, he hopes to cling to for the rest of his life.
